With the maxim “double venue, double illusion”, the urban festival Primavera Sound 2023 is projected for next year announcing that it will have two venues in Spain: Barcelona and Madrid.
It will be held over two weekends:
- On June 1, 2 and 3, 2023, it will be held as usual at the Parc del Fòrum de Barcelona-Sant Adrià del Besòs.
- And on June 8, 9 and 10, 2023, it will be at the City of Rock in Arganda del Rey, Madrid.
Both cities will maintain their characteristic stamp, their urban identity with the Primavera a la Ciutat program.
The program will alternate in the two venues with musical activities that will be staged before the main days.
The idea is that the festivals in the two cities will be equivalent, however, the organization has not yet confirmed whether the lineup of artists will be the same in one city and the other.

To clarify that the festival is not leaving Barcelona, only the usual format was consolidated and another venue was added.
Although some cities also offered themselves, Madrid was selected because of its public and because it has put all the interest and solution to each requirement.
Both the City Council of Madrid and the City Council of Arganda del Rey have offered their full collaboration and support to the festival.
It will be a festival of great joy that will strengthen ties with the capital. Those who will benefit the most will be the attendees, the public that is already looking forward to the event.
